Government?

1)Can anybody explain how a divided government has led to a decline in trust and confidence in government?

2)And two specific consequences of decline in trust and confidence in government on indiviual political behavior?

The idea that people have just lost confidence in their government is nonsense. People have always had a low regard for their government. People had a very low regard for Jackson, Lincoln, Grant, Cleavland,and many others. Government was so corrupt that business bragged about buying state legislatures. When you are a student in school. you do not hear about all that. People want their children to be idealistic not cynical.

cuz its evil. actually i dont know. all i know is they prohibit me from doing things i see no problem with myself doing.

personal choice and freedom is dead. money has taken the souls of the world. if there is a satan he is green and hiding behind the faces of legendary men... =(
