Is the government using the increased Congestion Charge to improve transport services?

Is the government using the increased Congestion Charge to improve transport services?

For example, by offering more buses, trains, places to park bikes and motorbikes?

Do you SEE any more buses and trains being put on?

If they are offering an 'improved' service it's very well hidden! I travel on the Victoria Line every day and get crushed in like a sardine!!!

Red Ken is becoming Crimson Red. He wants to make only the Rich to be able to drive around in Cars .

He has the perfect excuse to keep taking money out of people's pockets ;and he uses the " Fixed Penalty " route ,

(Doubled up if you do not pay within the Time allotted) . He can impose Fines more readily and brazenly than the Courts of the land. Has he got visions of seeing us impoverished like the Russian people once were ? Have we an alternative candidate?

No it is not. We were told by Livingston that once the C Charge was introduced, the money would be ploughed into public transport. It has not been! It has been handed to private companies who have pocketed it, and the London transport system gets worse by the day, and a lot more expensive.

The other week, the Jubilee Line went down again for the second day in a row. I catch the tube from Willesden Green, and when I went trudging to find a bus that might take me to work, I spotted Livingstone.

Was he walking to the bus stop as well? Was he walking to work? No, he was waiting inside a taxi office, waiting for a taxi that we would end up paying for.

Then again, he can't really drive can he, being routinely pissed at 10am as has been recently reported and photographed.

no just another avenue for a cash inflow you can sort of look at it as an undeclared tax

Yes the government will spend every penny to make our environment better, You don't think the government collect this money and waste it do you?

There are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Our priority is education education education

The British people will have a referendum on Europe

The crime rate is going down.

We will have a election in the autumn

Raising taxes and spending money are what governments do. Improving anything is done strictly by accident.

No it's the same with road tax. The AA says that if all the revenue collected from road tax charges was put back into the highways then we would have the best roads in the world. Makes you think where is all the money going to dosen't it, if we are taxed for using the roads should that money be used for roads only otherwise it just becomes a tax.

no just to generate more money!

Well, have YOU noticed any improvement? I know I haven't. The Tube is as bad as ever. Red Ken must've raked in millions of pounds since it started. God only knows where that money has gone.

Bendy buses, probably.

no No NO

they are using it to line their pockets and pay for more of their failed schemes. while they take more cops off the streets and give us less service for the tax we pay already.

soon the tax for pedestrians will come in as well just watch and see
