What articles in the Constitution provided a government structure with checks and balances?

What articles in the Constitution provided a government structure with checks and balances?

P.S. Referring to the United State Constitution

It isn't literally in the Constitution, the concept of Separation of Powers is embodied in the Constitution in the 1st Article, in the 2nd Article, and in the 3rd Article.

Checks and balances refers to the various procedural rules that allow one branch to limit another, such as the authority of the president to veto legislation passed by Congress, or the power of Congress to alter the composition and jurisdiction of the federal courts.

Article 1 - deals with the organization and powers of confress.

Article 2 - deals with the qualifications, powers, and duties of the President.

Article 3 - is where we find the rules, duties, and authority of the judicial branch.

Article 4 - contains the very few provisions that relate to the power of the states.

Article 5 - provides the rules for amending the constitution.

Article 6 - contains the rule that the Constitution shall be the supreme law of the land, binding all levels of government.

Article 7 - provided the rules for the original ratification of the Constitution.

Just read it dude - it is not really that long, and VERY educational!

well obviously it didn't work, did it.
