What does the government do with seized drugs?

On yahoo this morning a featured video was $352 million worth of cocaine found in a semi-submersible vessel. They then went on to say that the company that found that has seized $2.2 Billion in the past, now I know the government auctions off seized homes and cars and the like, but what do they do with these drugs? They obviously can’t sell them to people, are they used for medicinal research? Are they burned in places where people won’t inhale them?

They destroy alot of them, use them for medical research, and also use them for "cases". ie: sell someone a lb of whatever so they can arrest them.

Well, most of it goes to the religious right. Where do you think Rush got his pills? Or Haggarty his meth? Or Dobson the cocaine to fuel his incest rape sessions? And do not forget bush. He still does coke by the truck load. How do you think that geezer still has any energy left after ruining 2 countries?

Seized drugs are destroyed in a controlled environment.

They are supposed to destroy the drugs after they have seized them. Then when they are seized, they are usually kept in a lockup for appropriate inventory. I don't really know what their circumstances become beyond that. I know that research will tell you what has occurred with these drugs. The truth of the matter will not be told to the public. Every three months the various government agencies that deal with the confiscation of illegal drugs gather their "catch" and travel to Colorado. Once there they go to the top of Pikes Peak and sing Rocky Mountain High while they get stoned and "high."

I seen video's of this, they usually blow it up on site where they found it, or if it was found on a ship, they open the drugs up and let the oceans take care of it. Or they may burn it, where people won't get high off of it. They probably take some of it for the undercover agents to sell or do whatever with, so they can blend in easier.

They are destroyed or given to the Representatives I mean look at some of the crap they are trying to force on us they got to be high

They destroy the drugs that they seize. I'm not sure how. They have a special lab set up for that. That's all I know.
