How do I get help from the government for being a ward of the state?

My probation officer tells me that since I'm a ward of the state of Michigan, I can get all kinds of help from the government with money, college, a free car, a free laptop, all kinds of stuff. But I don't know how to go about doing this, and neither does he. So, at my last appointment he made it my "homework" to figure out how to get these benefits.

Anyone got any information or anything that could help me?

Please and thank you.

Go to the state government web page and type in there search box what you are looking for: Grants education loans where ever?

Good luck
