How does the US government benefit from allowing illegal Mexicans to cross the border and work in the US?

Sorry, everyone has this one wrong. The government doesn't benefit, the politicians however do. Companies that rely on cheap labor to maximize profits pay lobbyists to persuade politicians to allow this mess to go on in return for financial support in the future. Both Democrats and Republicans are guilty of this. I believe there should be term limits on all politicians in order to put an end to this type of influence. It is a slap in the face to all Americans. These guys are supposed to be doing what is best for the country, not ensuring their political futures.

Most of what other people have said above is true, but I believe this is the answer to your question ( plus some extra food for thought).

The U.S benefits because the Immigrants will be paying taxes, which is good for the economy here in the U.S.

Cuz they do crappy jobs the poor white trash refuse to do

They do the jobs the White people won't do.

we do not get any thing but fox dying love for money.

They dont always. However when they do, its because the illegal imigrants are doing jobs that Americans refuse to do, really really dirty nasty hard jobs that nobody wants to do, but someone has to, so there they are. And this has big effect on economies of towns and states, and in the end, the federal government. But what hurts, is when they come here, make money, and then go back to Mexico to feed the Mexican economy, and that is bad. Personally, I dont care who comes here, or what country they do it from. As long as they do it as every one else has for decades upon decades.

Easy Access to the United States from terrorist and other undocumented persons...thats why

1. Cheap Labor

2. Good Cheap Food

quite simply, it doesn't

The U.S benefits by the mexicans, and other immigrants, because they are the ones who do the jobs that nobody wants and/or they are also cheap labor. At least that is what i think now i don't have any sources but i am latin and know pretty well on why the u.s should allow immigrants in :) I was just looking through the questions and saw that yours didn't have any so i decided to answer you

they don't they just haven't figured out how to keep them out there are plenty of mexican's working every day off the books and sucking up free clinics and hospital

It's a very complicated issue. But Mexicans and other immigrants (both illegal and legal) perform jobs that Americans will not or do not want to perform. When I was a teenager (a long time ago) kids did many of the service jobs. But there were fewer of them and teens won't do those anymore or there aren't enough of them. In places like So California the economy would be devastated by having no Mexican workers. Read Fast Food Nation and see how many industries truck Mexicans to work in places like the chicken ranches and then simply let them go after their work is done because it would be too expensive and too much hassle to return them.

Of course, illegal entry is another question, with many sides to it as well. Like all issues, the truth lies not on either extreme side, but in the middle.

Being in the military gave me some knowledge on this type of issue, being we had to occasionlly intercept drug boats entering the U.S. via the Gulf of Mexico. All things in the military and government are shady, and not black and white at all. They want you to think that everything that goes on is black and white.

The reason the U.S. "benefits" from illeagal immigrants is several reasons.

A. They DON"T pay taxes even if they become legal, for seven years. They get the shaft from the government in ways, too. The business can get away with paying them less, not giving benefits, and insurance. For major companies and manufacturers, who are major pillars in the economy; this saves everyone money. What the illegal aliens don't pay in taxes, they pay for in getting screwed, which saves the govt. even more.

B. Less paper work. If they are not legal, a company can't file them, or pay for drug screening. Makes you want to work around one, huh?

C. Most of the money they earn goes right back into the U.S. economy while they are here, working. They still have to pay someone rent, buy food, gas, etc. Then they send the rest back "home".

D. They are willing to work for what we as Americans call crappy pay. They concider this a fortune and will work any job, mostly labor.

The US government benefits from allowing illegal Mexicans to work by saving money on payday. These right wing fanatics are so concerned with "big business" they are willing to pay an illegal Mexican minimum wage to hang live chickens at a processing plant, but not willing to support the two income families which make up the middle class of America. Pay the illegals less when we could be paying the working class a little more. Go figure. It seems our government wants the middle class to become obsolete. Lou Dobbs is my hero!
