How did the federalist government start out?

Tell about it. Who was involved? How has it changed now? does it still exist today? What are some extra facts on how it was started and its history? How does it differ from centralists government?

The federalists were the first political party in America. Alexander Hamilton was pretty much the creator and John Adams was the first Federalist to be elected. However he did not win re-election. It does not exist today. It believed in big government and that the normal labor could not take care of themselves and they were stupid. They wre in favor of an international bank too. They lost power as a party while during the war of 1812 a convention was held to discuss New England leaving the rest of the United States. Hope this helped
