Is there a government plan to help people during the recession who may have their house repossessed?

if so wat are the government planning to do to help those families and where can i find more information about it?

Rather than actively trying to solve the issue of too much borrowing that got us into this mess in the first place the government are using their stake in Lloyds TSB to push the bank back into lending money again, competitors will most likely follow suite and so begins the cycle again.

Your best bet is the Citizens Advice Bureau. They'll have all the info and are impartial. Tap it into a search engine to find your nearest office.

The best of luck to you.

There is a mortgage rescue scheme. For specific advice contact your local council and ask for the housing options team they can help with your specific case.

For general information on the scheme go to

The only plan they have come up with is to support the lenders via the building society's you would have to approach them for support otherwise there is not much out there. Go an tackle your local MP an ask for there help it is why they are there so make them work for the money they get from your taxes I would.

I wish you the very best of luck.
